Many of the instruments have been identified as produced by Guyatone in Japan. Guitar Player Magazine Review:

Danelectro Double Neck Guitar

Siix and twelve string model. Late 1990's These are fairly rare and long out of production, having a brief production from around '98 to '01. This one, finished in white is in great shape and plays exceptionally well. This model features Dano's stacked pots, which gives you a volume and tone control for each pickup, rather than the master volume/tone on later models. It also features the Gotoh tuners, which are the best tuners Dano has ever used. It features a pair of lipstick pickups and they share the volume/tone controls. A pair of heavy duty switches controls (1) which guitar tone is sent to the output jack and (2), pickup selector for bridge-both-neck. The 6 string features Dano's classic wooden bridge which, remarkably, intonates very well, while on the 12-string side there are 6 individual saddles, each one adjustable. Dano has only been building one guitar at a time as of late and it's hard to say if they'll ever get around to building the double neck models again since they don't have the mass demand of a straight 6-string. Sorry no case

Danelectro - "U2"

Late 1990's Reissue - Specifications: Body is "Copper" color (with  off-white binding tape) with the classic masonite top and bottom with plywood frame. Stacked, concentric control knobs (combining volume and tone onto one pot); the heavy-duty, industrial-strength toggle switch; and an alloy bridge with a rosewood saddle. NOS, Mint condition, not even a pick mark, and the neck is perfect. No electronic or mechanical issues. This is a very nice playing, retro looking & sounding guitar, which is appreciating in value.  Sorry no case with this guitar.
